The cottage is located on a beautiful natural property, is very clean, with an up to date decor and every amenity you might need. The ping pong table was a great feature for evenings and rainy days.

  Noah and Marcus were great! Easy to communicate and very responsible! Stunning place as it advertised, and even better. You'll find everything you need, it feels just like at home.

The cottage is in a very quiet setting.

If you’re like me and need shade there is no umbrella on the dock - so while my friends sat in the sun all day - there was really no where for me to sit out of the sun with them. There are a couple chairs in the shade up by the hammock however the grounds are unkept and the chairs were filthy - so not a very inviting area to sit. The pathway down to the dock was not lit - so definitely need a flash light.

The dock was lovely. Marcus put the trampoline and beer fridge out for us as soon as we asked! We couldn’t swim as the water was freezing. 60 degrees.

The cottage is well stocked and nice and clean. The beds were comfortable however if you are bigger adults sleeping in either of the upstairs rooms, just keep in mind the beds are only doubles, so a very tight fit.

The duvets were super comfy the only downside was super old yellow pillows that smelt. We washed all of the pillows in the cottage - which fixed the problem.

Noah was very accommodating and let us bring our 4 small dogs. They loved roaming around outside & swimming off the dock.

The cottage had a perfect blend of traditional and modern styles, with plenty of nice decorative elements. It had more than enough room for 7 people (the 7th person was $150/per night extra though; there was an air mattress set up in the loft) and was clean and super well-stocked - ping-pong, lots of board games and books (I personally really enjoyed reading the 1980s National Geographic photography book), plenty of firewood, all kinds of cookery, and a great oven. The huge fridge also came with plenty of ice packs...it's really these small details that count. And the dining area with its large windows and long table was unbeatable! Looked even better than the photos on the website. Noah was in charge of the reservation process and answered all of our questions beforehand; Marcus was in charge of the boat trips and he was a great host! He replied promptly to our messages on arranging the boat trips, proactively helped us handle our (lots of) luggage, and was always in a good mood during the rides. Thank you Marcus for pointing out all of the interesting sites and facts during the rides! The rides for check-in and check-out were included, just keep in mind to set up any other boat rides during the stay with Marcus in advance to ensure his availability, as we forgot to do that before arrival, so thanks as well for accommodating us. The only issue we had was that the water would leak from the 2nd-floor bathroom down to the 1st-floor bedroom when the shower was in use. However, Marcus was very apologetic when we alerted him to the issue, and we were able to make do with using the 1st-floor shower for the rest of our stay since the issue would require inspection that would be better done after check-out rather than during the stay. In all, keep up the great work and hope more people discover this gem of a cottage!

The house had everything we needed, although we had to save a little water towards the end of the stay ( but I'm sure-if it were necessary - Marcus would bring us more). The water was crystal clear and we enjoyed many swims/taking out the SUP/ kayaks/canoes and spending lots of time on the water trampoline- a hit with the kids. The indoor ping pong table and board games were also a hit. Our group enjoyed the bbq on the dock, allowing us to spend more time on the water. Marcus was so kind and helpful and we enjoyed a great afternoon boating with him and grabbing ice cream. Our stay was loved especially by the kids. We hope to be back next summer!

We rented a boat, and had it delivered to the dock (on Marcus's recommendation) and it could not have been easier. We loved traveling around the lake, going to Dorset, and enjoying the lake! We were a family of 5 adults and were very comfortable. The bedrooms and 3 baths make it easy! Lots to do inside, Ping Pog and other games made it so much fun, and having smart TVs made sure we could watch the US Open 🙂 . Stay here and you will not be disappointed.
